Open Your Hearts to the Redeemer

Jesus Christ is at the door of your heart

"Here I am! I stand at the door and knock.

If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me."

(Revelation 3:20)

Right now Jesus is standing at the door. Only you can open the door into your life.

God loves you

鸞so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life"

(John 3:16)

God loves you and all humans. He wants to bless  your  life  and  make it full and complete. He offers you not only an abundant life here  and now, but a life which is eternal 詳 very  own  life.  Believe  with  all  your heart that Jesus Christ died for you to provide deliverance from your sins, for all of us are sinful.

All are sinful

頳tyle="mso-bidi-font-style:normal">There  is  no  difference,  for  all  have  sinned  and fall short of the glory of  God"

(Romans 3:23)

Sin has a penalty

ﲠthe wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal  life in

Jesus Christ our Lord㰡n style="mso-spacerun: yes">

(Romans 6:23)

If we continue in sin, the result will be spiritual death, which is separation from God forever. You have the alternative to receive pardon for sin and everlasting life, as a free gift from God.

Christ paid the penalty

崍 God demonstrates his own love for us in this: while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.쯺p>

(Romans 5:8)

Salvation is a free gift

"For it is by grace you have been saved, through faiththis not from yourselves, it is the gift of Godﴠby works, so that no one can boast."         (Ephesians 2:8-9)

(Revelation 3:20)

Christ not only died for you; but He wants to save you. Jesus Christ the Redeemer is standing at the door of your heart, that is, the door of emotions, intellect, and will. Invite Him in.

You must receive Him

崠to all who received Him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God--childrenﲮ of God쳰an style="mso-spacerun: yes">

(John 1:12)

When you receive Christ into your heart, you become a child of God and have the privilege of talking to Him on a personal level about anything at any place at any time. Christian life is personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ.

What must you do?

1.Admit you are a sinner.

2.Be willing to repent and turn from sin.

3.Believe that Jesus Christ died for you on the Cross.

4.Through prayer, invite Jesus Christ into your heart to take control

of your life and receive Him as your personal Savior and Lord.

A Suggested Prayer

     Dear Father in Heaven,
I know I am a sinner in need of Your forgiveness.
 I am willing to
turn from my sin.
I believe that Jesus Christ paid the penalty for my sin by dying in
my place.                    I open my heart to the Redeemer Jesus Christ and invite Him into    my  heart and life as my personal Savior and Lord.
I am willing by Your help to follow and obey Jesus as the Lord of
my life.

What happened ?

Just now, when you opened your heart to Jesus, your sins were forgiven (Colossians 1:14). You became a son of God (John1:12). You were made heir to all of Godࢬessings (Romans 8:16-17). You now possess abundant life (John10:10) and everlasting life (John3:16). You are saved and have eternal life.

楲yone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved쳰an style="mso-spacerun: yes">                            (Romans 10:13)

半 who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life. I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life.ﺰ>

(1John 5:12-13)

Do not trust your feelings, which changes. Instead take God at His Word and believe His promises. Memorize 1John 5:12-13 given above and repeat it when doubts arise. You possess what you confess. You should say with assurance:          ਡve received Jesus Christ. On the authority of His Word, I have eternal life.ﳰan>

Living in Christ

Here are a few important requisites for living and growing in Christ

1.Read the Bible Daily.

Read at two chapters daily. Begin by reading through the Gospel of Luke at least a chapter a day, then Act of Apostles, some of the Letters before  returning to the Gospels of Matthew, Mark  and  John.  After  you  complete  one round  of  reading  the  New  Testament, read the Old Testament from Genesis onwards a chapter a day till the end, in addition to a chapter from the New Testament. Take extra time to read the Psalms and Proverbs. Pray for understanding. If  you require  explanation  ask  someone who has deep faith in Biblical Christianity.

2. Pray Daily

Thank God for what He has given you both good and bad, praise God for what He what he has done, worship God for all  what  He is.  Express your love for Him, seek His forgives for your weaknesses naming your sins, forgive  those who have hurt you  and pray for God쳰an style="mso-spacerun: yes">  blessings  on them.  Present your  needs  and  trust  Him  to  meet  them.  Pray for your country, community and church. Be still before God and let Him speak to you, perhaps through the Bible or perhaps in your heart. Thank God, believing your prayers have been answered.

3. Attend Church Regularly

Attend  Church Services  as  often  as  possible, listen  to  the  Word of God when ever opportunity arises, fellowship with others and discuss Scriptures.

4. Serve Others.

The more you give yourselves in service to others, the more you will enjoy the life in Christ.

5.Learn to Conquer Doubts, Temptations and Worries.

When doubts arise, remember you have become a child of God by His mercy and repeat 1John 5:12-13. When  temptations  come, pray (Matthew 26:41)  and  strengthen  yourselves with Scriptures. When worried, remember that the Bible says that, we need not be anxious and that God will take care of you, if you seek first His Kingdom (Matthew 6:33-34).

6.Learn the Blessings of Suffering

Difficulties, diseases and distresses of all kinds have a new perspective when you have Jesus in your life. Suffering produces perseverance, character and hope, which never disappoints you (Romans 5:3-4). Trails come so that  your  faith may be proved genuine and may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed (1 Peter 1:7).

7.Witness Your Redeemer Jesus

Sharing with others your life in Christ by words and deeds is the best way to grow in Christ and an exciting experience.
